Meet the Team
Sonora Rowan is an accomplished writer, singer, musician and production designer. Most recently she co-produced and co-wrote the thirty minute dramedy Service Road, which premiered at the Idyllwild Film Festival where it was nominated for the Mary Austin Award for Excellence in Producing and Screenwriting.
A pivotal member of Eagle and Child, she's been creating films, photography and music for over ten years.
Founder of Eagle and Child Productions, Carly Miller is a USC film school graduate and accomplished writer/director.
In October 2019, she won best director at the Show Low Film Festival – for her thirty-minute dramedy Service Road. Her screenwriting has also won her accolades, with her western Rogue placing as a semifinalist for ScreenCraft's 2019 Film Fund and a quarterfinalist in WeScreenplay's feature contest. Her distinctive voice and sharp ear for dialogue lend themselves to complex characters and themes that make us question what it means to be human.
Amanda and Carly met while earning their undergraduate degrees in film at the University of Southern California. After becoming fast friends, they began collaborating on short films – and have worked on four together since 2011.
A skilled writer and director, Amanda is helping to create a one-hour long TV drama for Eagle and Child Productions.
